Background Edit

The small town of Carn lies in the middle of the forest.  It's inhabitants rarely get visitors and are very friendly.  The constable needs help with a problem though, and offers 30 gp to whoever can take care of it.  Cultists have been attacking the town to protect their forest god.  The people in this town just want peace.  A local hunter knows the way to their shrine, but he doesn't want any part of the fighting.

Nature cult
The cultist's clearing is surrounded by dense trees, the only way there is through a thin and winding path in the forest.  The large alter has writing on it in a mixture of sylvan and druidic.  It dipicts the power of their mighty forest diety Gah'rikka the Spreader.  The High Priest (H) is often found preaching the other 8 priests (P), each of which sit on a stone pew.  There is a small, clear pond in the clearing about 10 ft. deep neer the center.  With the High priest is his medium viper familliar (see MM and add link+ share spells )
